Antipsychotic Drug Campaign Push Leads To Reduced Number Of Prescriptions For Dementia Treatment

One state is working towards reducing its administration of antipsychotic drugs. The push came after being identified as the state with one of the highest rates of antipsychotic drug administration in nursing homes. The push has led to a 26 percent reduction of antipsychotic medication prescriptions.
