Assisted Living Employee Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault on Disabled Resident

An assisted living employee has been arrested for an alleged sexual assault on a disabled resident. According to court documents, the alleged victim was under the defendants care at the assisted living facility. The alleged victim reportedly informed her own family that she had been raped, who reported to authorities. The facility had video cameras which, according to prosecuting attorneys, captured the assault on tape.

“The camera captured the defendant sexually assaulting her twice a day, on two different days. The videos did not capture the totality of the sexual abuse the victim suffered at the hands of the defendant,” the prosecuting attorneys wrote in court documents. For more, read the story.
