Assisted Living Facility Employee Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse of Resident

A former assisted living facility maintenance worker has been arrested on sex abuse charges, accused of requesting sex and inappropriately touching a 72-year-old woman living at the facility. Police began an investigation into the abuse of the female resident in late December.

The investigation revealed that the 49-year-old building maintenance worker, allegedly requested sex from the woman and inappropriately touched her several times while in her living quarters, contact which police say was unwanted by the woman. The man was booked into jail on first- and third-degree sex abuse charges. For more, read the story.
