Assisted Living Facility Visitor Charged with Attempted Murder After Castrating Resident

A 41-year-old man has been arrested and is being held on $5 million bail after police say he castrated a paraplegic during a dispute at an assisted living facility. Officials say the man is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and other related counts after Monday night’s attack at the assisted-living-facility.

Police say the suspect was visiting a female friend who apparently had some sort of dispute with the victim. The visitor was apparently trying to settle that dispute when things took a violent turn. The victim, the suspect and the woman were all apparently friends.The victim remains in critical condition at a hospital. For more, read the story.
