This week police arrested a certified nursing assistant (CNA) after he allegedly sexually assaulted an elderly woman at a nursing home. The male CNA, 48, was booked into jail on Monday evening on a sexual assault charge of an elderly person.
Police were contacted that evening by the nursing home after another male employee at the facility witnessed the CNA sexually assaulting the resident, police said. The CNA was fired and told him to leave the premises. Police found him at his home an hour later, where they arrested him. For more, read the story.
