County Nursing Homes' Director Resigns For Failing To Notify Officials Of Patient's Death After Fall

A county nursing homes director resigned in part for failing to advise county officials about a state investigation of an unreported nursing home patient's fall which led to her death.

The nursing home aides who were helping the 93-year-old resident at the time she fell filed no reports after the fall.  A few days later, the patient had extensive bruising.  She died a few days later at the hospital.  For more, read the story.
