An 86 year old woman left a nursing home for the hospital with a broken nose, cheek bone and a bruised eye. The woman was said to have fallen out of bed, but later she was said to have fallen on the way to the bathroom. The daughter however, was suspicious.
Her daughter said the two stories were not adding up, and her injuries seemed inconsistent. “Someone is hitting my mother,” she said, “The way my mother looks. I mean, there is no puncture there. It looks like somebody punched her.” An investigation is underway. For more, read the story.
