Daughter Sues Nursing Home For Medication Errors Made With Her Mother

A nursing home patient’s daughter is now caring for her mother after losing trust in the facility where she resided. Her mother was sent to the hospital 37 times while a resident at the nursing home. The main issue that her daughter mentioned was medication errors. The facility applied a pain patch and subsequently added another, causing a medication overdose, resulting in a hospital stay.

The daughter is now suing the nursing home facility stating that they are causing numerous deaths with medication errors. She believes the state is covering up the medication errors to maintain state funding by not reducing ratings of the nursing home required to receive funding. She also noted that the facility is dirty and full of spiders. For more, read the story.
