According to police, an elderly couple was found dead of an apparent murder-suicide in their assisted living facility apartment. Police believe the 81-year-old man shot his 80-year-old wife before turning the gun on himself.
The man’s wife had been living at the facility because she suffers from Parkinson’s Disease. Police say staff at the assisted living facility last saw the couple on Saturday. On Sunday they did not see the couple so they went to their room to make sure they were okay. It was at that time that they discovered the bodies. For more, read the story.
