According to officials, two health care workers were accused of abusing an elderly patient in a nursing home. The healthcare workers allegedly assaulted an 88-year-old male patient with dementia.
An administrator at the nursing home says the patient was soaked in urine and wouldn’t let the two former employees clean him up. The patient suffered bruising to the torso and pain as well as restricted breathing.
An aide who witnessed the incident reported that the workers restrained and assaulted him repeatedly. This is the second case of alleged abuse by workers. For more, read the story.
