Police are investigating the alleged rape of a patient at an assisted living facility which has had its license suspended in the past.
The woman's brother contacted police to say that his sister had been raped by another resident. The brother said a facility employee called to tell him that the 52-year-old woman with mental deficiencies had been raped.
Last year, the facility was cited for multiple infractions, including a charge of failing to protect a resident from another violent, combative resident suffering from Alzheimer’s. For more, read the story.
