Former Nursing Home Employee Charged With Class B Felony Of Elder Abuse

A former nursing home health-care giver pleads not guilty to the abuse of a 96-year-old patient under the employee’s care. The allegations involved physical injury by “grabbing or twisting her arm, hitting and thumping her on the head”. The patient sustained a bruised arm and several knots on her head. 

The charges involve a Class B felony of second-degree elder abuse. The former nursing home worker could receive 2-20 years if convicted. For more, read the story
