Former Nursing Home Employee Pleads Guilty to Stealing From Residents' Accounts

A woman has admitted she stole money from residents at the nursing home where she worked. According to the stateĀ  Attorney General’s office, the woman pleaded guilty to two felony counts of stealing from a resident trust account at the nursing home where she worked as a bookkeeper.

The former nursing home employee was ordered to repay more than $37,000 and was sentenced to two consecutive five year sentences. The sentence was suspended on the condition that the woman successfully completes probation.For more, read the story.
