Former Practical Nurse at Nursing Home Facility Charged after Allegations of Taking Intrusive Photographs of Patients

A Licensed Practical Nurse at a nursing home facility was charged after police discovered she had been taking disturbing and invasive photographs of elderly patients in her care. According to the criminal complaint, the nurse was taking these invasive photographs and sending them to a co-worker at the facility. The police believe that the photographs’ sole purpose were to demean the patients.

While some of the seniors were believed to have been captured by camera in embarrassing ways, some were even photographed completely undressed. The nurse was fired immediately following the charges.
