Four brothers are looking to lay their father’s ashes to rest after his death five years ago in a nursing home. Their father, a patient at the home was dropped from a hoyer lift four feet in the air. He broke his pelvis and died just hours later from hypovolemic shock.
The brothers believe the nursing home, the lift manufacturer, or both are at fault. They are waiting for the jury trial in the coming months to finally say goodbye. They desire to see justice before spreading his ashes near his birthplace. For more, read the story.
