A girl scouts troop spent time together creating four different ornaments to deliver to local nursing homes. The troop was comprised of twenty five girls and their co-leaders, working together to serve the community. The ornaments included pine cones with glitter, felt birds, paper balls, and garland wreaths.
“It was just kind of a way to bring some holiday cheer to some of these folks living in assisted living centers,” one of the troop leaders said. “Not everybody has family nearby during the holidays.” For more, read the story.
