Home Nurse Service Allows Patient To Fall, Dies A Few Months Later

A family has filed a lawsuit after alleged abuse of their father by a home nurse service. The patient was widowed and being treated at home in his last days. The nursing service was acquired for him when he became unable to fully care for himself.

One nurse aide allowed him to fall, but did not call 911. The patients suffered broken ribs, and a head injury. He died a few months later. She was fired and an investigation is pending. For more, read the story.
