Medicaid cuts in one particular state’s budget causes fear in how it will affect their staffing size in the upcoming years. Since Medicaid helps fund nursing homes, close to a million dollars in cuts for these facilities means cutting staff positions, which is the last thing the nursing homes want to do. However, it is looking like a possibility for next year.
One administrator at a medical care facility is trying to ease the nerves of some patients by reassuring the quality of care each patient will receive.
