Husband Files Lawsuit Against Nursing Home For Wrongful Death Of Wife

A deceased patient’s husband has filed a wrongful death lawsuit citing neglect of his wife while she was a patient at the defendant’s nursing home facilities. He claims that she was allowed to suffer pressure sores and wounds on her body. Sepsis was contracted through the sores and she ultimately died of a heart attack. 

The husband is claiming that his wife’s death was avoidable if she had received better care. The pressure sores began her health decline leading to sepsis and then her death. He is seeking a jury trial and damages in the lawsuit. For more, read the story
