Judge Denies Dismissal Of Nursing Home Lawsuit

A judge has declined to dismiss a nursing home lawsuit citing inadequate care in multiple nursing homes under a nursing home chain ownership. The case has been launched by the state's attorney general alleging that low staffing ratios are the main culprit for lack of care. The nursing home chain attempted to have the case dismissed.

The judge did not budge on the lawsuit and is allowing the prosecutors to move forward in trying the case. The attorney general has vowed he will not back down. For more, read the story
