Kentucky Assisted Living Facility Prepares for the Holidays

The Rivercrest Place Assisted Living has not had any COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began; however, with the holidays approaching, the facility is preparing to fight the expected rise in cases. Rivercrest has complied with all CDC guidelines since the beginning of the pandemic and plans to continue this course of action. For example, all visits must be scheduled, with only two visitors permitted. Residents are also permitted to travel for the holidays.

The facility has planned their own events and activities for seniors who plan to remain there throughout the holidays. The facility “wants those residents to stay positive, reminding the community that though the COVID-10 guidelines can be tough, they follow them to protect others.”
