Man Goes Missing During Transport from Nursing Home To Hospital

Police announced this weekend that a 50-year-old man who reportedly suffers from mental illness is missing. Police asked the public in the area to keep their eyes open. He was last seen while being taken to the hospital from a nursing home where he lived.

The nursing home staff had contact with him on July 30 when he was in the process of being transferred by ambulance. According to a police alert,  the man was being transferred by ambulance, but never arrived. The missing man is described as a 5-foot-10, 240-pound black man with brown eyes, black and gray hair, facial hair, and a medium brown complexion. For more, read the story
