A nursing home’s medication nursing assistant was indicted on charges for abusing a resident by selling her personal drugs and administering them to the resident. She was accused of giving Lorazepam to the resident.
The resident’s doctor did not prescribe that particular drug. The medication nursing assistant pled not guilty, but bail was set at $20,000. She is also looking at Class A misdemeanor for abuse and a Class B felony for the sale of a controlled drug. For more, read the story.
