Nursing home employees at the Four Seasons Rehabilitation and Nursing home went on strike this past Monday, citing unfair labor practices, subpar benefits, and unfair wages during the pandemic as their reasoning. Workers began to protest at 5:30 a.m., and plan to continue protesting “until a deal is made.”
Employees claim that they work “without a contract and without enough personal protective equipment to stay safe,” despite being essential workers during the coronavirus. They also demanded “better staffing levels and higher wages.”
