New Nursing Home Staffing Study Reiterates Need for Appropriate Staffing

A new study has been released which reiterates the strong need for adequate nursing home staff counts.   According to the study, nurses and other various nursing staff are leaving their jobs at nursing homes because of the dire effects low staffing causes.   Low staff counts have been contributing to more hours working under high stress, leading to job dissatisfaction and burn-out.    

The study continues by saying nurses and caregivers are skipping important aspects of the job due to the high demands.   Among these duties include frequent communication with lonely patients, monitoring wanderers, and creating patient care plans.   For more, read the story.
