The wife of a nursing home patient is suing the nursing home facility for allowing her husband to suffer neglect and injuries due to poor quality of care. A lawsuit filed against the facility alleges physical and emotional injuries sustained at the nursing home during the time of his care. Additional claims include a failure to prevent mental and physical abuse. Nursing Home Patient Removed From Facility By Stranger

A nursing home patient was taken from her nursing home by an individual unknown to the family. Video surveillance revealed the patient being wheeled out of the nursing home by an unidentified individual. Police were contacted to locate the patient suffering from dementia. “[The patient] has dementia, speaks limited English, is extremely frail and cannot walk by herself,” said a police spokeswoman.
