A nursing home employee has been charged with three counts of theft by unauthorized taking, two of them felonies, one a misdemeanor. A police investigation uncovered the theft and the fact that the stolen items were sold in a local pawn shop. The employee pleaded not guilty to the charges.Police responded to three concerns about missing jewelry at the nursing home.

CNAs formerly employed at a nursing home are retaliating after being fired from their positions at the facility. The CNAs claim that the nursing home was allowing patients to be tied to their wheelchairs with bedsheets. They raised concerns about the practice and were shortly after fired. The nurses met with the nursing home's executive director and director of nursing, at which point they were asked to deny their statements about the patients being tied with bedsheets.

The family of a nursing home patient is suing the nursing home for mistreatment and abuse of their loved one. The family asserts that the facility subjected the patient to eight years of abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. One incident was the last straw for the family, proving the suspicions in their minds. The family was called saying the patient had a fall, but the injuries were more consistent with being beaten.
