Nursing Home Fined $1.23 Million For Neglect Of Patients

A nursing home accused of neglect and mistreatment is nearing a deadline to pay a fine of $1.23 million. The original fine was $2.46 million, however, the facility agreed not to appeal the fine or citations that accompanied it. The nursing home was also barred from accepting new admissions for a period of time. The nursing home was required to make improvements to pass an inspection and once again admit new patients.
