A nursing home patient has died after wandering away from a facility. The patient was last seen in the facility at midnight. The patient was found outside the facility blocks away about 5 hours later.Police are investigating the incident.

A database is available for individuals to search to identify the variation of staffing levels reported during annual surveys and those reported to Medicare and Medicaid for reimbursements. The database houses over 11.000 nursing homes. To database is searchable by state and county, for listings featured in the database.
