A nursing home patient’s family has filed a lawsuit after the death of their loved one took place at the nursing home facility. The patient along with his roommate were beat to death by their third roommate. The roommate who beat the other patients suffered from paranoia and mental illness.

The family of a nursing home patient has filed a lawsuit after suspecting neglect of their loved one. The patient suffered from pressure ulcers or bed sores. The sores went untreated leading to sepsis.  The patient died from sepsis and the family believes the nursing home could have prevented the infection if proper care had been taken with the bed sores.

A nursing home nurse if facing charges on several counts of abuse after police investigated incidents involving patients in the nursing home facility. Staff members reported multiple patients suffering her abuse. One patient experienced the nurse covering her mouth and nose.

A nursing home nurse is facing charges of neglect of a patient. The nurse took the patient to that bathroom, placed her on the toilet and left her there. Upon her return, the patient was in the floor.

Using time management studies, the attorney is showing how the daily care needs could not have been completed for the amount of patients residing at the facility, based on the amount of time it takes to provide each type of care. A nursing home nurse has pleaded guilty on four counts of theft. The nurse stole a credit card from a patient charging over $5,000 to the card. The money was used to withdraw money from ATM machines as well as purchase clothing and food from restaurants.  The patient died shortly after the theft occurred.
