The employee spent days in jail upon sentencing for the charges. The nursing home is now being held responsible for allowing the incident.
Nursing Home Owner Files For Bankruptcy
A nursing home owner collecting a paycheck of $34,000 per month and driving a company-leased porsche filed for bankruptcy at one of his nursing home facilities. The co-owner along with his partner, who also drove a porsche leased by the company filed after the facility received a poor facility inspection. The nursing home lost its Medicare and Medicaid funding and 40 of its 43 patients in the process.
