Negligence Costs Rehabilitation Center

A Spotsylvania County jury recently awarded damages in a suit that began two years ago to an estate of a man who suffered severe burns while residing at Carriage Hill Health & Rehab Center. Inspectors cited the nursing facility for failing to enforce the no-smoking policy and for not providing proper supervision. Carriage Hill has had previous problems and was placed on a special focus list for 18 months with very little improvement made.
