Officials Suspend License of Virginia Nursing Home Administrator Due to Care Violations

Officials have suspended the license of a man who oversees six assisted living facilities in Hampton Roads, Virginia. The Virginia Board of Long-Term Care Administrators suspended the administrator’s license in September after the death of a resident at one of the facilities. According to officials, the resident fell earlier this year and the center’s staff did not seek medical treatment outside the facility.

New Study Links Patient Mortality and Frequent Hospitalization to Bed Sores
