Facility Cited for Neglect After Investigation Into Wandering Death

Housekeeper Arrested for Stealing from Elderly Client

An elder woman has been victimized by a woman she hired to be her housekeeper and personal trainer two and a half years ago, sheriff’s deputies said. The housekeeper allegedly stole the woman’s checkbook from her home and wrote approximately 15 checks, totaling about $6,000. According to police, the victim realized her funds were being siphoned off when she discovered a check missing and confronted the housekeeper, who admitted to the thefts.
