One nursing home reportedly filed twenty-nine incident reports last month. Among these reports, many had the tags and/or references of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Some other reports included burns, lacerations, and malfunctioning of medical equipment.

A former aide of a retirement community is being charged with raping at least one elderly resident of the facility almost twenty years ago. The victim was said to be both non-verbal and bed-ridden in the facility. However, newly presented court documents allege this man may have committed sexual crimes against two additional elderly residents at that same facility.The former aide was arrested on February 27, 2019.
