A family makes plans to sue a nursing home facility two years after their loved one, an 84 year old Army veteran, died in the facility’s care. Nursing Home Patient Dies, Facility Files Lawsuit

A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed for a male patient who died of septic shock at the age of 57. The patient suffered from a massive pressure ulcer.  The facility failed to provide the care necessary to help prevent and heal the wound. “You’re trusting where they’re at that they’re getting the care that they need,” said the deceased patients sister.

A nursing home is under investigation after the death of a patient.  The family is speaking about the facility's lack of care and failure to notify of a fall.  The patient died just 9 days after being admitted. “She would still be here today had they contacted us,” said the patient's daughter.
