A nursing home patient suffering from dementia has been put in an Uber by herself by the nursing home facility to go to a doctor's appointment when her medical transport did not show up. The family was called by the doctor's office, because the patient was scared and uncertain of where she was. The nursing home would not answers calls regarding questions about the incident.

A nursing home patient has died after the facility allowed him to suffer bedsores he did not have upon admission to the facility. “They told me this is the worst case of bedsores they have ever seen from that nursing home,” his son recalled doctors and nurses telling him in the emergency room. “The sores were black.
