A veteran with a history of falls fell at a nursing home and suffered a hip fracture. Injuries documented from the fall only included a right shoulder and hand fracture. However, later when the patient voiced pain in his hip, x-rays were given with only Tylenol administered for the pain.

The family of a deceased nursing home patient is seeking justice and future prevention measures for nursing home patient care. A patient in a nursing home for 15 months was allowed to develop a bedsore that became infected and progressed to a Stage IV level. The bedsore was the size of a fist by the time she was sent to the hospital.

A nursing home patient has died after falling into a creek. The patient was in a wheelchair who fell out of the chair and into the creek. He was in cardiac arrest when found and died just 20 minutes later.The patient was checked out of the facility per the corporate owners of the nursing home.
