A nurse has been charged with one count of acquiring a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, deception or subterfuge; and one count of false statements relating to health care matters. Her sentencing has not yet been scheduled. She admitted to diverting pain pills at two different facilities.
The pill diversion occurred at one facility a few years back. The other diversion occurred this year. The nurse did not reveal her earlier diversion of pills to her employer where she once again diverted pills. For more, read the story.
