A nurse employed by a nursing home is being charged for allegedly stealing painkillers from the home. The painkillers were a schedule II controlled substance. She was arrested just weeks ago after Vicodyn and fentanyl patches went missing.
The county sheriff’s office released a statement saying the nurse had admitted to taking the drugs from the nursing home. She was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and theft. For more, read the story.
