Nurse Suspect Arrested For Rape, Assault Of Nursing Home Patient Who Gave Birth To Child

A nurse has been arrested in connection with the rape and assault of a patient who recently gave birth to a child. The facility had no idea she was pregnant. Officals took DNA samples from the baby and the suspect and found a match. He was arrested and appeared in court. He has been charged on two counts for vulnerable adult abuse and sexual assault. 

The nurse was a male 36-year-old, who care directly for the patient for some time, including during the time the rape incident took place. The victim was incapacitated, in a vegetative state and unable to speak to object to the advances of the nurses, or to alert anyone that she was pregnant. For more, read the story
