A nursing home nurse’s aide was arrested and charged following the suspicion the aide was aggressive and abusive toward a resident in the facility. According to a report, the alleged victim was wheelchair-bound and elderly and under the aide’s care. Among the charges include assault and battery, a misdemeanor.
The victim was allegedly pinned down by her arms in a forceful manner. The state’s Attorney General commented on the case by stating, “Physical abuse of nursing home residents is never acceptable, period.” For more, read the story.
