Nurse's Aide Charged with Invasion of Nursing Home Resident's Privacy

A certified nurse’s assistant and her friend have been charged with invasion of privacy after allegedly posting a photograph of a resident’s genitalia to Facebook, the state Attorney General’s Office said this week. The CNA, 26, allegedly used her cell phone to take the photo, which she then sent to her friend. The friend posted it to her Facebook page.

State officials said the aide has been fired as a result of the charges. Both women are charged with invasion of privacy and conspiracy, the release said. If convicted, they face the possibility of five years in prison and a fine of $15,000.For more, read the story.
