Two nursing home employees have been arrested on charges of elderly abuse. The employees were identified by a whistleblower and a police investigation followed. Security footage identified two specific instances of physical abuse by the two arrested workers. The abuse involved shoving a patient while walking and pushing him to the ground.
The whistleblower brought the allegations to police with concerns for the patient, because he could not defend himself. Police said the abuse occurred “despite the victims being unable to communicate with authorities.” For more, read the story.
