Nursing home employees have been suspended and are under investigation for the neglect of nursing home patients. The state attorney general has filed charges and is pursuing a case against the nursing home and employees involved in the neglect. One patient was described to have “literally rotted to death”.
The neglect involved six current and former employees as well as a contracted nurse. “This is gut-wrenching for anyone who has entrusted a care facility with the well-being and safety of a loved one,” said the attorney general. For more, read the story.
