A nursing home employee who came up with a sinister plot to assault nursing home patients with dementia has been sentenced. The employee was soliciting men to sexually assault elderly dementia patients on video. He received a sentence of 14 years. The suspect pleaded guilty to the charges.
“People have a right to leave their loved ones in nursing homes without having to worry about them when they drive away,” said the judge on the case, using a string of adjectives to describe the suspect’s behavior that included “repugnant, reprehensible, egregious and horrifying.” For more, read the story.
