Nursing Home Administrator Charged With Theft

A nursing home administrator has been charged with identify theft and larceny after stealing identities of two patients at the nursing home. One of the patients was deceased and another still a resident at the facility. The administrator opened credit cards in their names and purchased jewelry and clothing totaling more than $2,000.

The specific charges against the administrator included fourth-degree larceny, three counts of second-degree identity theft and four counts of taking more than $500 off a revoked credit card. The accounts used to purchase the jewelry and clothing were tracked back to the administrator's computer. For more, read the story
