Nursing Home Assault Leads To Investigation And Fine

A caregiver has been charged with two counts of assault after witnesses observed him sexually assaulting a patient. The witnesses were co-workers that approached the nursing home worker to aid with a patient. The co-workers reported the administrator after the worker committing assault ended his shift. 

The nursing home received a double fine in the amount of $2,200 for the assault noting that patients were put at “high-risk”. The nursing home facility is currently under investigation by the state department of health for the assault. For more, read the story
