Nursing Home Assistant Administrator Steals From Patient

An assistant administrator at a nursing home has been accused of stealing from a nursing home patient. The administrator was arrested after it was discovered that the administrator transferred nearly $2,000 from the patient's bank account directly into his own. The administrator has been charged with exploitation of persons with infirmities and theft of assets of an aged or disabled person.

The patient was described as having “severe cognitive impairment.” Police have been conducting an ongoing investigation, which led to the arrest. For more, read the story
