Patients are not allowed to be admitted to a nursing home receiving fines for violations dating months back. Nursing home staff put some residents in immediate jeopardy causing the bar on admissions until quality of care is improved. The nursing home is under 20 hours of monitoring a week as well.
One resident was sent to the hospital after physician’s orders were not followed for oxygen assistance. Consequently, the patient received a tube in his trachea to make an airway. The nursing home did not answer questions regarding the incidents, but released a general statement instead. For more, read the story.
